Making artist trading cards at the Wellness Community in Des Peres

Christian and I attended this class where we made "Trading cards for comfort and support "to give to cancer patients recieving chemotherapy. It's a great way for me to "pay it forward".

  1. Hi Sarah,
I was quite taken back when John emailed me. I could hardly believe you were ill.
Having had thyroid cancer, I can appreciate how it affects a person. However, I see from your blog that you are keeping busy, exercising and just keeping a positive attitude.
Ellie is so grown up! A college grad and working in Houston. Christian in college; where does the time go?
All is well here. I still play music but not as often as I would like. I still remember Claude and I playing for the nursing home where you worked when we visited. Those were good times.
I'll be checking on your blog to see how you are doing. I just started a blog called Barb's barbs. Probably not an accurate title but one that is easy to remember.
The Library of Congress had an excellent medical website. Go to Medline plus.org
There is information on everything medical. It also is not commerical. For example, WebMd is operated by CVS so I wondered if some information wasn't motivated by the bottom line.
Anyway, I'm very happy you are doing well.
    Barb
